Do you have any guarantees?
Yes, we include a 100% uptime guarantee which covers power and our network. If any hardware ever fails, it is typically replaced within an hour.
Which operating system can I install?
Any, through IPMI! You can also choose from a list of common operating systems on the order form and our team will install it for you.
Do you own your servers?
Yes, all server hardware including our spare part inventory is owned by Shock Hosting. We are not a reselling from another provider.
Are the servers managed or unmanaged?
All of our servers are unmanaged by default. If you require management, please contact our sales team for further information.
Can I purchase additional IP addresses?
Yes, the price for additional IP's will vary depending on the desired quantity. A /29 IPv4 range is included with every server.
Do you offer free SSL certificates?
We currently utilize AutoSSL from cPanel, this automatically installs free SSL certificates on your sub/addon and main domains. The best thing is, it's all automatic, you don't need to do anything! On new orders, it may take up to 12 hours for AutoSSL to detect your account and activate a free SSL on your domain(s).
Will I need to sign a contract?
No, we don't force the signing of contracts. If you would like a contract, please contact our sales team for further information.
Is there any discount for pre-paying?
Yes, an additional discount (up to 25% off) is automatically applied to longer billing cycles such as quarterly and annually which can be selected at checkout.
